This project was the Future Lions winner at the Vietnam Young Lions 2023 competition. The challenge was to develop a breakthrough communication campaign for Closeup, aiming to solidify its "Fresh" and "Close" brand image within the Gen Z mindshare. The project successfully met rigorous objectives, including a 70% Reach, 70% Top of Mind (TOM) awareness, and a 20% growth in sales revenue.

THE SOLUTION

The Insight Gen Z lives in an era where relationships are constantly scrutinized through the lens of "Red Flags." However, the fear of being labeled a "Red Flag" has made them hesitant and self-conscious, unintentionally creating a distance from their romantic interests. They need a source of inspiration to courageously confront and overcome these social stigmas. Creative Idea: "Breathe The Red Flag Away" Closeup provides more than just fresh breath; it offers the power to "blow away" the red flags that separate lovers. The campaign transforms perceived fears (Red Flags) into opportunities for understanding (Green Flags). Strategic Pillars 🚩 Someone: Breaking down prejudices regarding a partner's appearance or personal style. 🚩 Yourself: Overcoming personal insecurities and self-doubt. 🚩 Society: Challenging barriers created by social stigmas, such as gender norms and sexual orientation. Key Activations Tinder Integration: Directly engaging the dating audience by transforming "Red Flag" bios into engaging, meaningful conversations. Interactive Billboard: Utilizing OOH (Out-of-Home) technology that allows users to interactively and visually "blow away" digital Red Flags. UV Stamp Technology: Employing invisible glowing stamps at offline events to symbolize the hidden beauty and values that can only be seen when we are confident enough to achieve true Closeness.
