Collaborating with an RMIT student group, I developed an illustration system and promotional brochure for Duolingo based on a pre-written narrative. The primary challenge of this project was strictly adhering to Duolingo’s distinctive Brand Guidelines to ensure seamless global brand consistency.
I conducted in-depth research into Duolingo’s design principles, including geometric proportions and character expressions, to create a new protagonist that embodies the brand's core visual language. From the minimalist flat design to the overall graphic structure, every element was meticulously crafted to align with the existing visual ecosystem. This project demonstrates my ability to adapt to and apply complex brand guidelines while transforming a unique story into a professional brochure layout.
