The Core Logo Idea The logo is a sophisticated intersection of two heritage symbols: the Gia Dinh Citadel (Thanh Bat Quai), representing the historical roots and structural fortitude of old Saigon, and the Octagonal Architecture, the most iconic and recognizable feature of the Museum of History building itself. This combination creates a balanced and sturdy geometric emblem that honors a heroic past while representing the preservation and promotion of cultural values in the present. Visual Exploration Building upon a solid logo foundation, I developed an identity system centered on the concept of Contemporary Heritage. Graphic elements are simplified into sharp geometric lines and paired with a high-contrast color palette to create a fresh, dynamic appearance that bridges the gap between tradition and modernity. Extensive Applications The application system is designed to cover every touchpoint, from admission tickets and staff ID cards to lifestyle merchandise such as tote bags, coffee mugs, and souvenirs. This implementation demonstrates the logo’s versatility across various materials, helping the museum brand transcend the exhibition space and seamlessly integrate into the daily lives of the younger generation.
